Nepal Telecom Company (NT) has resumed post-paid mobile phone services in Biratnagar and Pokhara from today. Of the total 4,200 mobile phone lines distributed in Pokhara Sub-metropolis, 940 have been resumed, informed Amarnath Jha, chief at Nepal Telecom, Pokhara branch. The mobile phone lines especially owned by civil servants and businessmen have been resumed, he added. In the beginning there were 4,905 subscribers of the post-paid mobile service in the city. At the same time when the next list of the mobile phone lines to be resumed will be available, is not known, Jha said. Similarly, there is still uncertainty about the resumption of 9,500 pre-paid mobile phone lines, according to a Nepal Telecom source.
