KATHMANDU: Nepal’s leading mobile service provider Ncell on Monday organised a seminar to encourage the teams selected under ‘Games and Entertainment’ category, one of the four categories of Ncell App Camp 2015. During the half-day seminar, experts from the fields discussed about possibilities of applying mobile apps in games and entertainment areas, growing demand of mobile apps, getting access to global market and payment gateway constraints, among others, as per the press statement. Biswas Dhakal, president of F1 Soft and keynote speaker said, “The key to the success for any app is its ability to go viral and keep the users engaged.” Kiran Krishna Shrestha, team leader of Nepalaya, Bhaskar Dhungana, founding director of QFX Cinemas, Rajan Maharjan, co-founder and senior iOS developer of Game Developer, and Deepesh Paudel of Sarwanam Theatre had participated as panelists. Young Innovations’ CEO Bibhusan Bista moderated the discussion. A total of 37 teams have been selected under ‘Games and Entertainment’ for Ncell App Camp 2015. The app camp is continuation of Ncell’s CSR initiative launched in 2014.
