Miss Earth India apologises to Nepal for 'hurting sentiments'

KATHMANDU: Aaital Khosla, Miss Earth India, 2015, has apologised to Nepal for hurting the nation and its people, days after the controversial video that was uploaded as a part of the promotional campaign for Miss Earth International, 2015.

In the video, scenaries and places of Nepal were showcased as parts of India to promote her country. However, the video was soon deleted after the controversy gained momentum. A new video has been posted in its place for the same.

Miss Earth Nepal, 2015 Dibyata Vaidya, in her social networking site page, Facebook, has seconded Khosla's apology asking Nepali citizens to forgive and shower her with love.
