Man perishes in wedding procession, driver in truck queuing up for diesel

KATHMANDU: Two persons, a participant of wedding procession and a truck driver, died after they fell unconscious in different parts of the Capital on Saturday. A 32-year-old Anil Kumar Nepali fell unconscious in a wedding procession, when it reached Jayabageshwori, KMC-8. Nepali breathed his last on his way to the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital. Likewise, the driver of truck (Na 1 Kha 6100), Som Bahadur Karki, was found incapacitated died inside the cabin of truck, which was queuing up for diesel at Jadibuti, KMC-35. Karki was rushed to Civil Hospital where he was pronounced dead. Police said they are looking into the cases.
