KATHAMANUD: The meeting of Cabinet has been called for Friday at 6 pm at the Prime Minister's residence in Baluwatar. Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has informed about the meeting in his tweet. The meeting will decide about the appointment of an Acting Inspector General of Armed Police Force after the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority recommended suspension of APF IG Kosh Raj Onta, Deputy Superintendents Suman Jung Thapa and Ram Krishna Maharjan and Inspector Bin Bahadur Thapa for their alleged involvement in ‘massive financial irregularities and corrupt practices.' Earlier, the Cabinet meeting was called for 5 pm yesterday. It, however, was postponed as PM Oli was visiting Barpak village in Gorkha district, the epicentre of devastating April 25 earthquake.
