Lalitpur, July 24:
A sum of Rs 95,000 was stolen from All Nepal Football Assoiation (ANFA) Complex at Satdobato on Saturday night. “We normally don’t keep cash at the office. The amount was kept for the coaches’ salaries and for paying monthly bills,” said All Nepal Football Assoiation president Ganesh Thapa, who claimed that the theft was a result of our official’s carelessness.
There is only one guard to look after two buildings at the complex. “The theft was done very professionally. Even the finger print experts could not find any clues about the thieves. They might have worn gloves to prevent the finger prints,” Thapa said. “The documents, computers, football gears, balls and other things are left untouched. They took only the cash,”
he added. The thieves broke into the ANFA House breaking the iron grills at the back-side window and penetrated after taking out the glass panes too. All the doors inside the building were also broken. This is the third time that ANFA Complex has been looted.
