Kathmandu:

The viewers were dumbfounded by the result of first round of elimination Samsung Nepali Tara on Saturday, as Jhuma Niraula, Pushpa Poudel and Ramesh Pokharel stood at the bottom three. The marks given by the panel of judges and voting from public via phone, SMS and e-mails decided the fate of these contestants. This week saw the dismissal of Jhuma Niraula. Earlier she had been ousted from the competition. But luckily one of the competitors moved out as he could not abide by the rules of the competition and she was chosen instead. Utilizing it with sheer brilliance and singing to perfect note, Jhuma secured place in the top 10. Although disappointed this time, Jhuma has many reasons to smile when she returns to Ilam.

“I got an opportunity to sing in the top ten album by Alok Shree. We performed live in 5 concerts and the way audience cheered for me, showed my placards, mobbed me for autographs. These memories are enough for me to go ahead and do some substantial job in the music field,” says Juma. Brazesh, host of the show informed that they have been received whopping amount of 98,000 plus votes from across the country. This is just the beginning. The euphoria is bound to rise higher during coming 9 weeks, after which the country will see the first singing sensation of Nepal.
