DANG: A child died in a road accident in Parseni of Dang district on Sunday night. The deceased has been identified as Shantaram Chaudhary (13) of Bankatta in Tulasipur-6. The child died after an ambulance heading towards Ghorahi from Tulasipur carrying a patient hit the child, according to the Area Police Office, Tulasipur. Police said that the child had gone to see a dance performed on the occasion of Maghi festival. Police have arrested the ambulance driver and also impounded the vehicle.
