DAMAULI: A youth was killed on the spot when an excavator accidentally fell over him on Sunday evening in Tanahun district. The deceased has been identified as Sajan Shrestha (21) of Devdaha-6 of Nawalparasi district. The incident took place during the construction of a motorable bridge over Kaligandaki River at Shabhungpur-9 in the district. Tanahun District Police Office said the body was taken out only on Monday. Police said preparations are underway to bring the body to Damauli Hospital for postmortem.
