Black marketeers nabbed with fuel

Damauli, February 3 Police arrested three persons for their involvement in black-marketing of diesel from Gacchepani, Suklagandaki Municipality in Tanahun yesterday. Police also filed case of black-marketing and social crime against the arrested at District Administration Office, Tanahun yesterday. The arrested have been identified as Sunil KC, 38, Suraj Lalchan, 31, of Suklagandaki Municipality and tanker driver Til Bahadur Ghale of Leknath Municipality of the district. Inspector Bijaya Raj Pandit of District Police Office, Tanahun, said the trio was charged for involvement in black-marketing around 600 litres of diesel. Acting on information provided by locals, a police team deployed from DPO, arrested the black-marketeers. The trio had hidden 600 litres of diesel on their way to Arbin and Sushil Oil Stores, Gacchepani. Police have started investigation against the arrested after Tanahun District Court remanded them to custody yesterday, said Inspector Pandit.
