KATHMANDU: Members of Raute community, an indigenous tribe living in jungles of Far-Western Region of Nepal, visited Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli this morning and asked him to provide support to them to observe various tribal festivals. During the meeting held at the PM's official residence in Baluwatar, the PM, however, urged them to adapt the modern lifestyle while preserving their traditional culture and rituals. He also assured them that the government would help them in the transformation of their lifestyle. Oli gifted some pairs of shoes and clothes at the end of the meeting, the PM's press coordinator Chetan Adhikari said.
