HETAUDA: Tribhuvan Army Club (TAC) registered a 1-0 victory over Saraswoti Club of Kathmandu in the International Invitational Hetauda Gold Cup Football Tournament on Sunday. Bikash Tamang scored the decider in the 21st minute through a header in the match at Forestry College Grounds, Hetauda. On Monday, Laxmi Hyundai Manang Marshyangdi Club will take on Kangchenjunga Club. A total of eight teams are competing in the tournament. Winners will be awarded with Rs 300,000, while the runners-up will receive Rs 150,000. The tournament is organised in memory of late Suman Bhomjan, who lost his life in the April 25 earthquake.
