JHAPA: Former prime minister and senior leader of CPN-UML Madhav Kumar Nepal on Sunday said the strained relations between Nepal and India were now taking a turn for the better with PM KP Sharma Oli’s recent India visit. Speaking at an interaction organised by Press Chautari, Jhapa, in Birtamode on Sunday, Nepal argued that as PM KP Sharma Oli was received with high honour in India, the strained relations also started improving. He said Nepal wanted to establish harmonious relations with both neighbouring countries India and China. Nepal said our country had to confront both natural and human created disasters. He said the months of Madhes agitation had crippled life more in Madhes than any other part of the country.
