SAPTARI: A girl drowned while playing in a pond located at Aaurahi VDC of Saptari district on Thursday. Police have identified the girl as one-and-a-half year old, Naina Kumari Mandal, daughter of Bharat Mandal. The girl’s body has been kept at Rajbiraj-based Gajendranarayan Singh Sagarmatha Zonal Hospital for postmortem, said  police.
