KATHMANDU: Police said they arrested 226 persons from Kathmandu Valley for their alleged involvement in untoward activities during the Holi celebration on Tuesday. Police said 133 were nabbed from Kathmandu, 83 from Lalitpur and 10 from Bhaktapur. Likewise, police also impounded 1,432 vehicles including two-wheelers for violating traffic rules in the Valley on the festive day. Some of them were driving under the influence of alcohol, according to police. Police are interrogating the detainees.
