KATHMANDU: The US government gifted two Riverine Boats to the Nepali Army amid a function held at Mahendradal Batallion of Nepali Army in Chitwan on Tuesday. Chief of Army Staff Gen Rajendra Chhetri received replicas of these boats from US Ambassador Alaina B Teplitz. During the handover ceremony, the US envoy said these boats would be useful in carrying out rescue efforts.
