Lawyers’ absence delays hearings KATHMANDU: Some benches of the Supreme Court, including that of Acting Chief Justice Sushila Karki, could not start hearings in cases for almost half-an-hour due to absence of lawyers representing the litigants. According to Assistant Spokesperson for the SC, Bishwa Raj Paudel, the court started hearings at 11:00 am but the lawyers were not there to present their cases.
