UCPN-Maoist may file motion of no confidence against govt

KATHMANDU: An emergency meeting of the UCPN-Maoist Standing Committee is scheduled to be held in Lazimpat at 4 pm on Wednesday. The meeting will take a decision about whether filing a no confidence motion against the government and withdrawing the support extended to it. The meeting would take decision on forming a national consensus government under the leadership of UCPN-Maoist and also discuss contemporary political issues. Party Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal and Prime Minister and CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli had held a meeting this morning. In the meeting Dahal had informed that forming a national consensus government under his leadership was the decision of the party.
