UAE minister calls on President

KATHMANDU: The visiting Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nhyan, called on President Bidya Devi Bhandari at the President's House, Sheetal Niwas, in Kathmandu on Tuesday. In the meeting, the UAE minister discussed strengthening bilateral relation between Nepal and the UAE with the President, according to a press statement issued by the Office of the President. The UAE minister was accompanied by six officials. High level officials of the Government of Nepal were also present on the occasion. Likewise, the UAE delegation also discussed the potential of tourism industry, natural resources and unemployment issues in Nepal. Minister Abdullah also called on Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli separately today itself. Sheikh Abdullah arrived here in the Capital to inaugurate the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in Lazimpat.
