KATHMANDU: Zonta Club Kathmandu on Tuesday handed over community toilets to the women community of Goldhunga on the outskirts of the Kathmandu Valley. Goldhunga is an earthquake-affected area. The community toilets have been built adopting Sulabh technology, which has been declared as one of the Global Best Practices for achieving success in the field of cost-effective technology. On the occasion, president of the club Pramila Acharya Rijal said the cost-effective technology of Sulabh could be replicated for constructing community and rural toilets in different parts of the country.
