Unilever restarts work
KATHMANDU:
Unilever Nepal Ltd (Nepal Lever Ltd) has resumed its operation beginning from today, following the withdrawal of closure threats from the employees withdrawn from the company. According to a press statement issued by Unilever today, The All Nepal Trade Union has withdrawn the closure notice to Unilever Nepal Ltd by reconciliation through Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI), human rights and civil society organisations. — HNS

After the successful marketing of John Players in the capital, Surya Nepal’s John Players branded men’s wear fashion wear is making its first foray outside the valley, says a press release issued by the company today. John Players, outside the valley, will be available in selected outlets in Biratnagar, Dharan and Pokhara, says the statement. Quality manpower
KATHMANDU:
Minister for tourism and civil aviation Buddhi Raj Bajracharya said that quality manpower was essential to boost hotel sector’s’ productivity. Bajracharya was addressing the closing ceremony of a training programme on ‘New Web in Marketing Strategies and Controlling Hospitality Management’ jointly organised by Institute of Hotel And Tourism Management, Salzberg Austria and Hotel Association Nepal (HAN) from August 29 to September 2, says a press release issued by HAN today. — HNS
