KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress General Secretary Dr Shashanka Koirala urged the government to resolve the issues of Tarai and ongoing Kathmandu-centred agitation launched by the Federal Alliance. Speaking at a press conference in the Capital on Tuesday, Koirala said that if there was any genuine issue raised by agitators that should be resolved through talks. Leader Koirala clarified that his party would not hatch a conspiracy to displace the government. He, however, said that the government would be formed and displaced through democratic process. On a different note, he said that the elections of local bodies could be held through consensus among the political parties.
