DPM Kamal Thapa leaves for Turkey

KATHMANDU: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Kamal Thapa left for Istanbul, Turkey on Sunday to take part in the World Humanitarian Summit being held from May 23 to 24. The CEO of National Reconstruction Authority Sushil Gyawali and Foreign Secretary Shanker Das Bairagi are also accompanying him. Thapa will also visit Israel and meet Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Before returning home on May 30, he will attend the high-level midterm review of the Istanbul Programme of Action for the least developed countries to be held in Antalya, Turkey from May 27 May to 29.
