Nepal Police operates free bus services for Valley commuters

KATHMANDU: Nepal Police said it would provide free bus services along two routes of Kathmandu for common people of the Valley who have been facing problems due to a transport strike imposed by transport entrepreneurs since this morning. The first route that the Nepal Police is operating free bus service is Naxal-Jaya Nepal-Putalisadak-Maitighar-Thapathali-Pulchok-Jawlakhel-Ekantakuna-Balkhu-Kalanki-Rabibhawan-Kalanki-Tripureshwor-Nagesthan-New Road Gate-Jamal-Mahendra Salik-Durbarmarga and back to Naxal. Similarly, the second route starts from Naxal-Lhotse Chok-Ratopul-Gaushala-Airport-Sinamangal-Koteshwor-Tinkune-Naya Baneshwor-Maitighar-Thapathali-Tripureshwor-Nagesthan-New Road Gate-Jamal-Lainchaur-Lazimpat-Police Academy-Narayan Gopal Chok-Baluwatar and back to Naxal. The bus service will be available from 10 am to 5 pm today, police said.
