Kathmandu, June 4 Hotel Association Nepal (HAN) — the umbrella association of tourist standard hotels in the country — has signed memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) to upgrade the gardens located at the entrance gate of the country’s only international airport. HAN has said that it will upgrade the gardens at the entrance of TIA at a total cost of Rs one million. First Vice-president of the HAN Amar Man Shakya and General Manager of TIA Devanand Upadhyay signed the pact on Friday, according to a press statement issued by HAN. HAN has pledged to complete the task within three months from the date of starting the works.
