TANAHUN: A youth was killed when a truck hit a motorcycle at Bandipur-8 in Tanahun district on Monday. The deceased has been identified as Kishor Darai (24) of Chitwan district, informed police. Darai was riding pillion on the motorcycle (Ga 6 Pa 1683). The incident took place when the truck (Na 6 Kha 4652), heading towards Abukhaireni from Dumre, hit the two-wheeler at Bandipur. According to the Tanahun District Police, Kishor died while undergoing treatment at the Kathmandu-based Neuro Hospital. Similarly, motorcyclist Sachin Gautam (20) of Kaski was injured in the incident and is receiving treatment at the same hospital. Police have arrested the truck driver and impounded the vehicle for further action.
