KATHMANDU: Nepalaya English Public School, Siddhi Mangal Higher Secondary School, Oracle Ray Academy and St Xavier’s started the Coca-Cola Inter-school Girls’ Football Tournament with victories here on Wednesday. In the matches played at the Sano Gaucharan grounds, Nepalaya thrashed Chantal Maiduit Academy 4-0 riding on a hat-trick from Gita Thapa Magar and a goal from Sunita Maya Ghising. Likewise, Siddhi Mangal defeated Modern Indian School 3-1 in tie breaker. In another match, Oracle Ray routed Valley Public Higher Secondary School 5-1 riding on a hat-trick from Kalpasa Magar. Ganga Khatri and Astha Khanal added one each for Oracle Ray, while Laxmi Chaudhary scored the consolation goal for Valley Public. In the last match, Sambrika Chettri netted four goals alone, while Kripa Pandey and Bipana Syangtan scored one each as St Xavier’s thrashed Apple International School 6-0.
