KATHMANDU: Nepal Army handed over three community shelters constructed to house the 2015 earthquake survivors to the Chief District Officer of Dhading district on Wednesday. The shelters built in Lapa, Ri and Shertung VDCs were a part of the NA’s drive to provide support to survivors of the last year’s massive earthquake. With this, the NA’s initiative has come to an end, informed the NA Directorate of Public Relations. The handover ceremony of the shelters was pending because of the lack of transportation, geographical obstruction and unfavourable weather. Other similar shelters had already been handed over to the concerned authorities on June 24.
