Agro-expo in offing

BIRATNAGAR: A national level technical and agro-equipment exhibition -2062 is being organised at Shahid Stadium in Biratnagar from February 2-8. The exhibition is being organised to increase agricultural production by adopting scientific and mechanised farming procedures, said Dr Krishna Bahadur Shrestha, joint secretary at the ministry. — RSS

Rubber plantation

BHADRAPUR: Small Farmers Cooperative Society, Prithavinagar has inspected rubber plantation at Sanishchare, Arjundhara, Budhbare and Dhaijan VDCs, cultivated by 55 small farmers in north Jhapa. The programme is aimed at improving life style of small farmers under the income generating programme. — RSS
