Rally held to show solidarity with Dr KC

KATHMANDU: A rally has been exhibited in Kathmandu on Saturday, in support of the call to end anomalies in the medical education and health sector, the agenda with which Dr Govinda KC on a fast-unto-death for the eighth time. Supporters of the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital's veteran orthopaedic surgeon had marched from Maitighar Mandala to New Baneshwor. The participants carried banners and chanted slogans demanding implementation of the report of Mathema manel, qualitative health services, and action against medical mafias among others. Health practitioners, civil society leaders, literati and members of the public took part in the rally. Dr KC is on the hunger strike at the TUTH since July 10. READ ALSO:
