MAHOTTARI: An elderly woman was found dead in Khayarmara, a remote village of Mahottari district on Monday. The deceased has been identified as 70-year-old Lalmaya Syangtan of Khayarmara VDC-8 in the district. She was found hanging on veranda of her house at Khayarmara. Syangtan had gone to her bed after having dinner at 9 pm on Sunday. According to the Mahottari District Police Office, police are doing further investigation into the case.
