MYAGDI: Landslides and floods triggered by incessant rainfall damaged three micro hydropower projects in Myagdi district. The 35-Kilowatt Second Darkhola Hydropower Project and the 60- Kilowatt First Darkhola Hydropower Project at Lulang have stopped power production for the past five days due to the damage caused by the landslides. Similarly, the 30-Kilowatt Dajungkhola Micro Hydropower Project has halted power production for the last three days after the floods swept away the project's water canal.
