KATHMANDU: Attorney General Hari Phuyal tendered his resignation on Wednesday. He submitted the regination to President Bidya Devi Bhandari via Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli this morning. His resignation would come into effect from tomorrow. He was appointed the Attorney General on April 17, 2016. Phuyal's resignation came few hours before the prime ministerial election today. Traditionally, the Attorney General, who has the constitutional responsibility to work as the chief legal advisor to the government, resigns after change in the government leadership. READ ALSO
