British diplomats call on PM Dahal

KATHMANDU: The British Ambassador to Nepal Richard Morris and head of the Department for International Development (DFID) Nepal Office Gail Marzetti, today called on the newly elected Prime Minister of Nepal Pushpa Kamal Dahal at the latter's private residence in Lazimpat. On the occasion, Ambassador Morris congratulated Dahal on his election to the post and wished for successful tenure. In response, Dahal said he and his government would work in taking friendly relations between Nepal and the UK at a new height and expressed his desire to work together ahead with the UK. Dahal also thanked Morris for congratulating him. Likewise praising the support the DFID extended to the development of Nepal, Dahal expressed his belief that such helps would continue in the future.
