KATHMANDU, FEBRUARY 12

After a continuous rise nearing its all-time high, gold prices in the domestic market saw a sharp decline of Rs 2,700 per tola on Wednesday, the last trading day of the month.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, fine gold is now being traded at Rs 167,500 per tola, a significant drop from Rs 170,200 per tola on Tuesday.

Similarly, silver prices have also declined by Rs 15 per tola, with the metal being traded at Rs 1,930 per tola, down from Rs 1,945 per tola on Tuesday.
