It has been like a trend in social media pages. As soon as you log in on different social networking sites, your friends and families and relatives post their status or tweet #IamwithKPOli #IamwithDrKC. The buzz is trending among the youths.And it makes me realize who I am with. Thanks to the internet and the founder of the social networking sites, Facebook and Twitter, we are able to post our views among a mass of people, be they our fans, friends or families. Whatever the reason, either you are partying with your friends and having Somersby or using the app Prisma to edit your photo, the post gets real viral. These networking sites are the new trend setters. Our country is going through a change and changes are happening fast, faster than anything especially in the political areas. A new government comes and goes like advertisements come and go during a movie in our TV Channels. The latest buzz was created by our Ex-Prime Minister by his words which were hard to digest and a national sarcasm topic with the #Gainda speech to #Nation’sOwnShip. Slowly the digestion power gradually increased among us when there was a buzz of #IamwithKPOli. People started liking him and his thoughts. And after a long time the country saw a PM who really talks about development, a faith was gradually storing among us, a thought starts dwelling in our mind that he is the one who will create the NEW Nepal, the better Nepal. And political changes took place before the hope changed into reality; the change in government took the nation by surprise. People thought the hope has ended, a better PM has been crushed down with political games and the thirst for power. And suddenly another buzz was created by Dr. KC’s fast. #IamwithDr.KC emerged to support his views for changes required in the medical field. The country’s youth and political figures joined him to show support. The fast has ended but the fight is still going on. When I saw these posts two things emerged in my mind. The first thought was of pride. I was proud of the country’s youth, their curiosity and participation in the country’s affairs and current situation, how they take it, their use of their mind and consciousness to evaluate the situation taking part in the changes or even becoming the change because our nation wants change, a development, a better future and growth. Another thought that particularly emerged was “Who am I with?”
