Gautam Subedi bagged the title of San Miguel Mr Nepal 2003. He jovially stated, 'I will utilise the honour given to me in a good way. I have always been interested in modelling and I will do something further in this field.'

San Miguel Mr Nepal 2003 was organised by Fashion Link Event Management Private Limited on March 5 at Birendra International Convention Centre. San Miguel Beer and Seagrams Royal Stag sponsored the event. Chief guest was Rajeshwor Devkota, president Rashtriya Prajatantra Party (Rashtrabadi) and the judges were politician Abhay Singh Budathoki, senior model Niroj Shakya, senior model and choreographer Nikhil Bikram Thapa and Mr Nepal 2002 Jiwan Luitel among others.

There were 16 contestants participating. The first round was the introduction round followed by physique round, selection of top 10 and then selection of top five. The winners of various other categories were announced and then came the final countdown. Second runner-up was Nistaze Niraula, and first runner-up title was bestowed on Kamal Ojha.

In between the show there were fashion shows and dances performances. Kamal Man Singh also made a special appearance. Niroj Shakya, one of the judges, stated, 'The event is well-organised and should be continued. The organisers should make sure that now Mr Nepal is given a good mileage.'

Choreographer was Mahesh Shrestha and the clothes were designed by La Belle and The Creation boutique. The motive was to collect aids for Remocareson, an NGO established for the betterment of the underprivileged.
