KATHMANDU: Tata Motors Car Mela officially kicked off from Thursday at Naxal Banquet, Naxal. This is the fourth season of the annual expo organised by Sipradi Trading, sole distributor of Tata Motors in Nepal, according to a media release. Major highlights of the expo are financing at a low 6.5 per cent interest and benefits of up to Rs 400,000, one set of Michelin tyres for one lucky valuation, free movie tickets for a couple on each test drive, free inverter for one lucky customer on car booking and free Thailand trip for a lucky couple on car booking. Famous celebrities Indira Joshi and Jitu Nepal will engage and entertain visitors on Saturday and Sunday, respectively. Other attractions of the event are paint ball, gaming zone, food stalls, mehendi, face painting, nail art, b-boying, hip hop, refreshments and free gifts, among others. According to Sipradi Trading, a Facebook photo contest has also been organised during Tata Motors Car Mela and every participant will get a movie ticket and one of the participants will win a smartphone also. Entry to the event is free. The company is expecting more than 3,000 people to visit the expo that will run until August 14.
