Kathmandu, August 11 Ministry of Youth and Sports and National Youth Council are set to organise various programmes today on the occasion of International Youth Day-2016. Organising a press conference here today, Madhab Dhungel, executive vice-chairperson, NYC, said they would celebrate the day by organising various programmes across the country. “A huge rally will be organised in the capital tomorrow morning with participants from various youth organisations and ministries and youths from academic institutions. After the rally, a formal programme will be organised to felicitate ten youths from different sectors who have made significant contribution to the development of the country.” President Bidhya Devi Bhandari will inaugurate a formal programme to be organised at Academy Hall tomorrow. He said various programmes such as rallies, blood donation camps, youth assemblies and quiz contexts will be held to mark the day.
