KATHMANDU: The Embassy of Pakistan in Kathmandu organised a ceremony to mark the 70th Independence Day of Pakistan in the Capital on Sunday. Pakistani Ambassador to Nepal Mazhar Javed hoisted the national flag of Pakistan at the Embassy during the ceremony. Ambassador Javed also read out the congratulatory and well wishing messages by President Mamnoon Hussain and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. The function was attended by citizens of Pakistan in Nepal, representatives of the Nepal-Pakistan Friendship and Cultural Association and employees of the Embassy.
