Sadbhawana leader accused of Arun Singhaniya's murder surrenders

JANAKPURDHAM: The Rajendra Mahato-led Sadbhawana Party's former central member Ram Binod Yadav, who is accused of his involvement in media entrepreneur Arun Singhaniya's murder, has surrendered before the Dhanusha District Court on Tuesday. District judge Dr Rajendra Kumar Acharya has sent Yadav, one of the main suspects of Singhaniya's murder, to custody for interrogation. The Dhanusha District Court said Yadav has been sent to the Jaleshwar Prison. It has been learned that Yadav, who was at large for over 27 months and was in the Nepal Police's wanted list, claimed in his testimony that he was not involved in the March 2010 murder and did not know any of the suspects of Singhaniya murder except Sanjay Sah. Yadav surrendered before the Court at 11 am today. The Dhanusha District Court said Yadav has been sent to the Jaleshwar Prison. Singhaniya, a local entrepreneur and publisher of Janakpur Today, was shot dead by an armed group in Janakpur in March 2010. READ ALSO:
