UPDATED at 10:20 am CHITWAN: A man was killed when three vehicles collided with each other at Piple along the  the East-West Highway in Chitwan on Saturday. The deceased has been identified as Hemanta Khadka (30) of Gandak in Bara district. Khadka was trapped between a Kalaiya-bound bus and a Narayangadh-bound truck that had collided with each-other, informed the Chitwan District Police Office. Khadka was a driver of the truck. Other 20 persons were injured in the incident and they are being treated at the Chitwan Medical College in Bharatpur. Among them, five people are said to be in critical condition. Lal Babu Ansari (36) and Sandesh Chaudhary (25) of Bara, Ashok Godhadh (30) and Bir Singh (19) of India, and another unidentified man are critically injured. 20 injured in Chitwan collision CHITWAN: As many as 20 persons were injured when three vehicles collided with each other at Piple along the Narayangadh-Hetaunda road section of the East-West Highway in Chitwan on Saturday morning. All of the injured are being treated at the Chitwan Medical College in Bharatpur. According to the Chitwan District Police Office, a Kalaiya-bound bus (Na 5 Kha 3743) and a Narayangadh-bound truck (Na 6 Kha 6793) had collided with each-other at first. Shortly after another truck (Na 4 Kha 8334) hit the truck from behind. Police said the accident occurred when the former truck's tyres went flat and lost control, resulting into the collision. Driver of the former truck is trapped and police are trying to rescue him, informed SP Basanta Bahadur Kunwar of the DPO.
