VP Pun holds talks with Venezuelan President Maduro

KATHMANDU: Vice-President Nanda Bahadur Pun held talks with Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro on the sidelines of the 17th Summit of Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) in Venezuela. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the two discussed the non-aligned movement and subjects of mutual interest. VP Pun also met his Indian counterpart Mohammad Hamid Ansari and discussed Nepal-India relations. Similarly, VP Pun also held talks with United Nations Under Secretary-General, Kim Won-soo, during which matters relating to establishment of peace and disarmament of offices in Kathmandu were discussed. They also discussed UN-Nepal relations, MoFA informed. Also present in the meetings were members of the Nepali delegation taking part in the Summit.
