MORANG: A person died and four others were injured in a scooter-motorbike collision at Kadamaha in Morang along the Rangeli – Biratnagar road stretch on Saturday. Dhirendra Kamat (28) of Kadmaha – 6, who was riding the motorcycle with Indian registration plate, died in the accident. Scooter rider Ramdev Mandal (50), his son Aachkar (17) of Sorabhag – 17, Bhaglu Mandal (30) of Kadmaha – 6 and Anjana Kamat (15) of Dadarbairiya – 3, riding pillion on the motorcycle, were injured in the mishap. The scooter en route to Biratnagar collided head-on with the motorbike yesterday night. They are undergoing treatment at the Golden Hospital in Biratnagar, said Inspector Avi Chandra Rijal of the Area Police Office, Rangeli.
