BHOJPUR: An elderly woman died after being hit by a bus in Sundardulari-2 of Morang district on Tuesday. The deceased has been identified as Maan Maya Dhakal (84) of Itahari-4. According to the Eastern Regional Police Office, Biratnagar, the bus (Na 4 Kha 8202) en route to Dharan from Phidim of Panchthar hit Dhakal today morning. Critically injured in the incident, she breathed her last on the way to the Biratnagar-based Neuro Hospital. Police said that they have impounded the bus and arrested its driver for investigation.
