KATHMANDU: Hill Town Higher Secondary School of Kirtipur felicitated the 12th South Asian Games gold medallist judoka Phupu Lhamu Khatri amidst a function organised on the occasion of Dashain festival. School President Hira Kaji Maharjan and Principal Rajan Tandukar handed over Rs 5,000 along with letter of appreciation to Khatri. Khatri bagged one of the three gold medals won by Nepal in the 12th SA Games held in India earlier this year. Wushu player Nima Gharti Magar and football team had won the two other golds in the regional sporting extravaganza. Nepal returned with three golds, 23 silvers and 34 bronze medals from Guwahati and Shillong in February.
