KATHMANDU: Police on Friday apprehended a youth in possession of a cache of pharmaceutical drugs from Nagarjun Municipality of Kathmandu. Umesh Lama (22) of Gairigaun in Nagarjun Municipality-3 was arrested in possession of 58 tablets of Nitravet, eight mobile phone sets, two adapters, a round of SLR bullet and Rs 20,000 in cash. Similarly, police arrested Samanta Ratna Bajracharya (36) of Jyatha-29 from Dallu, KMC-15 with 30 ampoules of pharmaceutical drugs on Friday. Further police confiscated 195 ampoules of the drugs and two Samsung mobile phones from Bajracharya’s house. Meanwhile, the investigation into the cases is underway, said police.
