LALITPUR: The national football team on Sunday resumed its closed camp training for the AFC Solidarity Cup here at the ANFA Complex following the weeklong festival break. A total of 30 players are in the camp for the event to be held from November 2-15 at Stadium Sarawak and Stadium Negiri in Malaysia. The Nepali squad comprised of Aditya Chaudhary, Alane Neupane, Ananta Tamang, Anil Gurung, Anjan Bista, Bharat Khawas, Bikash Tamang, Bikesh Kuthu, Bikram Lama, Bimal Gharti Magar, Biraj Maharjan, Bishal Rai, Bishal Shrestha, Devendra Tamang, Dinesh Rajbanshi, Dipak Gurung, Heman Gurung, Jitendra Karki, Kamal Shrestha, Kiran Kumar Limbu, Man Bahadur Tamang, Nawayug Shrestha, Prakash Budhathoki, Rabin Shrestha, Rajendra Rawal, Ranjan Bista, Ranjit Dhimal, Sujal Shrestha, Suman Lama and Sunil Bal. Nepal are pitted in the three-team Group A along with Brunei and Timor Leste after Bangladesh and Pakistan pulled out of the tournament. Sri Lanka, Macau, Mongolia and Laos are in Group B. Nepal will take on Timor Leste on November 5 before meeting Brunei three days later. The semi-finals will be played on November 12 and the final match is slated for November 15.
