House passes proposals on rights of disabled, Nepal Vet Council

KATHMANDU: A meeting of the Legislature-Parliament unanimously passed the proposal to forward the Bill on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities -2072 BS to the concerned committee for clause-wise discussions. The Bill was proposed by Minister of Law, Justice & Parliamentary Affairs Ajay Shankar Nayak on behalf of the Prime Minister and Minister for Women, Children and Social Welfare, Pushpa Kamal Dahal. Similarly, the House unanimously approved the proposal to send the Nepal Veterinary Council (First Amendment) Bill- 2072 BS to the related committee for clause- wise discussions. Also, Speaker Onsari Gharti read out the letter received from the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers regarding assigning of the additional portfolio of the Ministries.
