Pedestrian hurt in motorbike hit at Chappal Karkhana

KATHMANDU: A pedestrian was critically injured after a motorbike hit him at Chappal Kharkana Chok of Kathmandu on Tuesday. The injured has been identified as Hari Magar (54) of Nepaltar on the northern outskirts of Kathmandu. The motorbike (Ba 21 Pa 8152) heading towards Sukedhara from Narayan Gopal Chok had hit Magar while he was crossing the road, at around 9 pm yesterday. Magar is receiving treatment at the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital in Maharajgunj. Meanwhile, police have detained the motorcyclist and impounded the motorcycle.
